I asked Molly, a first-time author, what she learned about writing during her arduous years working on her book.
Her answer really resonated with me.
So often, we feel like we need to have a fully baked idea of what we’re writing before we start. This is frequently the death of many half-baked ideas.
“I can’t write that until I understand better what I want to say!”
But Molly says the opposite is true. It’s the very process of writing that brings us to understanding.
